Get Going Now So You Can Get Winning Later

Soon enough the spring soccer season will be underway. Are you ready? Now is the time to get a head start!

Whether you’re a seasoned coach or new to the soccer scene it’s always good to come into the soccer season well prepared.

Do you have your soccer team roster?

Are the soccer practices and games scheduled?

Have an idea of how to run soccer practices?

Got a soccer team kick-off in mind?

These are just a few of the things that should be in place before you blow that first whistle at the opening practice. You know the drill, once the soccer season is going you’re all in with coaching and running your team. Tying up loose ends like the ones mentioned above after the season starts takes you away from the game.

I’ve been there and believe me it is not fun juggling everything all at once.  I was pulled in a million directions going back and forth between coaching and taking care of non-coaching duties. I felt disorganized and that filtered down to my soccer team.  My head wasn’t in the game and the way I coached reflected that.  Not getting a head start on the soccer season wasn’t fair to them.
