ADAPTABILITY
“When you are a football coach, to survive you either adapt, or you die”, according to Gerard Houillier, Former Liverpool FC and French Football Association Manager at 2008 NSCAA convention.
Where are you now in your coaching journey? How will you continue the process during this time of uncertainty?
Social distancing presents an enormous challenge for traditional instructor-led in-person learning. Virtual and Blended instructing will be the way going forward.
Pre-COVID Learning Process

When I started pursuing coaching courses over 15 years ago I was excited and thrilled to be following my passion.
My first course was the D license which focused on 4 versus 4 training. This was the first time I received written material about how to coach. I still consult the folder to this day.
I loved coaching and love the process, despite the physical wear and tear of playing long hours.
Your Just Cause
If you don’t embrace the new pathway of virtual and blended learning you face the risk of being stagnant and not growing with the game. Failing to learn new ideas how to understand and coach the next generation of player will limit your impact on player development.
You will be prevented from having an impact, leading to less opportunities.
However, if you love coaching (soccer), you will love the process of learning. Learning from colleagues and instructors arms with knowledge, confidence to make an impact.
You will be able to make an impression on the lives of players you are involved with on the field.
Virtual & Blended Learning
Courses will be delivered more through online, virtual and bleneded formats. Traditional instructor-led will be of the past.
